Compliance Advisory Services (CAS) was formed in 1989 at the request of Cooperative Producers, Inc. of Hastings, NE and Nebraska-Iowa-Kansas Non-Stock Marketing Group (N.I.K.) of Kearney, NE. The two organizations invested equally in starting CAS and currently share in the capital stock ownership.

CAS was organized to provide safety and regulatory consulting services to farmer-owned cooperatives and other businesses that offer products and services to the agriculture industry. We are committed to assisting our clients’ efforts to provide a safe workplace for their employees and customers, advising them on being good environmental stewards, and partnering with them to protect and grow their company’s assets.

Our company provides a variety of services to assist clients with their safety and regulatory issues. Some of these services include, filing of required regulatory reports, development of customized safety programs, safety training, Phase I environmental studies, and facility inspections and compliance reviews to ensure regulatory compliance. Specialized training provided by CAS includes CETP propane certification and 3 year refresher, OSHA 10 Hour General Industry course, grain engulfment prevention and basic bin rescue techniques, and Bullex fire extinguisher simulator training.

Compliance Advisory Services takes pride in our hands-on approach to safety consulting that allows us to be in direct contact with location managers and employees. Assisting clients with hazard identification at their facilities, allows our consultants to offer real-life hazard correction options and we constantly strive to improve the safety culture of our clients
